SITA is offering a 12-month Internship Programme in Gauteng Province for unemployed South Africans aged 18-35 with ICT skills. The program, which includes Software Development, End-user Computing, Information Security, and Business Analysis, requires no prior work experience.

Responsibilities

• Software Development Responsibilities:
• Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining software applications
• Write, test, and debug code to meet project requirements
• End-User Computing Responsibilities:
• Provide technical support for end-users, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and peripheral devices
• Assist in the installation and configuration of desktops, laptops, and mobile devices
• Information Security Responsibilities:
• Assist in monitoring systems and networks for security vulnerabilities or breaches
• Support the implementation of security measures, such as firewalls, antivirus software, and encryption
• Business Analysis Responsibilities:
• Assist in gathering and documenting business requirements from stakeholders
• Analyze existing workflows and identify areas for improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 3-year National Diploma in Information Communication Technology (ICT) or a related field at NQF Level 6
• No prior work experience required
